What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is the journey we take to make the unconscious, conscious. That is the simplest definition we have. Becoming more alive and awake to what is is often the result. Imagine seeing only a fraction of your experience in the world, and because of that, you are at a loss of what is happening, why you are feeling what you are feeling, where you are going, and even who you are. Psychotherapy is not just an exercise in assigning labels to things, as a taxonomist might to further understand something. Rather, psychotherapy is about palpably living out your new awareness with more depth, playfulness, and groundedness in your relationships. The hoped for outcome is authentic transformation.
